Terms of Service

The site describes the voice agents Sonido builds for businesses. It includes Sonido, a voice guide that walks you through the page; a demo of five example agents; a price calculator; and a form to book a call with an engineer. Using the site does not create a contract for Sonido's services. Any project is agreed separately, in writing.

• Calls may be recorded. Conversations with Sonido and the demo agents may be recorded and transcribed. The site tells you before a conversation starts; starting it means you agree.
• How recordings are used. We use recordings and transcripts to hold the conversation, to keep the site safe, and to improve Sonido's product. We never sell, rent, trade or exchange them for money or any other reward, and third-party services do not use them for their own purposes. Details, including how long we keep them and how to have them deleted, are in the Privacy Policy.
• Microphone. The site uses your microphone only during a conversation you start, and stops when it ends.
• Keep it general. Do not share sensitive personal information, or information about other people without their permission, in a conversation on the site.

Sonido and the demo agents are automated systems. What they say may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the demo data is invented. Do not rely on anything an agent on this site says as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. The site and its agents are not for emergencies: if you need urgent help, contact emergency services.

When you send the form, you confirm that the details are yours and accurate, and you agree that we may contact you about your request by email or, if you gave it, by phone. Sending the form does not oblige you or us to anything. You may send a correction after sending the form.

The price calculator gives rough estimates of third-party provider costs, based on published prices and assumptions we state on the page. Estimates are not offers or quotes. Provider prices change, actual usage varies, and Sonido's own fees and taxes are not included. A quote is given only in writing, after a call.

When using the site, you agree not to:

• break any law, or use the site to deceive, harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• impersonate a person or organisation, or try to make an agent produce content that does;
• try to make an agent produce unlawful, hateful, sexual or violent content;
• send false information through the form, or submit someone else's details without their permission;
• overload, scrape, probe or attack the site, or use automated tools to start conversations;
• get around rate limits, capacity limits or other protections, or reverse-engineer the site;
• use the site, its recordings or its content to build a competing product or train a model.

We may stop a conversation, limit access or block abusive use at any time.

The site and everything on it — text, design, illustrations, the agent shapes, the Sonido logo and name, code and recordings of the demo — belong to Sonido or its licensors. You may view and use the site for your own information. You may not copy, sell or reuse its content without our written permission.

You keep the rights you have in what you say or write on the site. You give Sonido a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it as described in section 2 and in the Privacy Policy.

The site relies on third-party services (listed in the Privacy Policy) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for other websites or for services we do not control.

The site and its voice features are provided as they are, when they are available. Voice features have limited capacity and may be busy, slow or offline. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, Sonido is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site. Sonido's total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD 100). Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

If you misuse the site or break these Terms, you agree to cover Sonido's reasonable losses and costs from claims by others that result from it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Sonido about the site.
